RSSFlow Reader ("we") is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how our Chrome extension handles and protects your data.
Data Processing
Locally Stored Data:
All data is stored locally in your browser, including:
- RSS feed URLs
- Article read status
- Your preferences
- Locally cached article content
- AI summary preferences (if enabled)
Important Notes:
- We do not collect or store any user data
- All data is saved locally in your browser only
- No data is uploaded to the cloud or sent to third parties
Data Transmission
The extension only makes network requests in the following cases:
- To fetch content updates from your added RSS feeds
- If you enable the AI summary feature:
- To send article content to selected AI services (OpenAI/Gemini/SiliconFlow) for generating article summaries
- Use of AI services is subject to their respective privacy policies
Data Security
- All data is securely stored locally using Chrome storage API
- All network communications are encrypted using HTTPS
- No risk of data leaks as data is stored only on your device
User Rights
You can at any time:
- View stored data (located in browser local storage)
- Delete all data (through extension's reset feature)
