RSSFlow Reader ("we") is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how our Chrome extension handles and protects your data.

Data Processing

Locally Stored Data:

All data is stored locally in your browser, including:

• RSS feed URLs
• Article read status
• Your preferences
• Locally cached article content
• AI summary preferences (if enabled)

Important Notes:

• We do not collect or store any user data
• All data is saved locally in your browser only
• No data is uploaded to the cloud or sent to third parties

Data Transmission

The extension only makes network requests in the following cases:

1. To fetch content updates from your added RSS feeds
2. If you enable the AI summary feature:
   • To send article content to selected AI services (OpenAI/Gemini/SiliconFlow) for generating article summaries
   • Use of AI services is subject to their respective privacy policies

Data Security

• All data is securely stored locally using Chrome storage API
• All network communications are encrypted using HTTPS
• No risk of data leaks as data is stored only on your device

User Rights

You can at any time:

• View stored data (located in browser local storage)
• Delete all data (through extension's reset feature)
